Once again a big thank you to Alex who lent us his driver and car to send us up to Sepang to catch the Formula V6 race that was held in conjunction with the Japan GT race. We got there in the heat but in good order and found the Tara DTM team paddock. Hafiz was just about to get ready for his run in qualifying but was gracious enough to entertain us. MAN IT WAS HOT!!! Royston and myself were sure facinated by the thrill of being in the pit that was just a few levels away from our beloved F1. Hafiz even let both of us get into his CAR!!! Man! That was one of the most unexpected but thrilling experiences ever. I don't know how much each car cost but I do remember it was more than a few hundred thousand EURO's! Well...of course, since we had pit passes, we joined him in the line up before the qualifying race with some fantastic close up pictures. Check out his helmet guys! Well.....unfortunately Hafiz was knocked out by someone else in the team which was very bad news indeed. While I don't think Ismay had a really good time, Roy and myself sure did and the time of our lives with a chance to do something very few people could....and all this before another nite out on the town in KL!!!
