Karen's Birthday

Karen, our door host was holding her little birthday party and boy was it a blast. Most of the boys were around including Satia and Boon....and it turned out to be a big nite out on the town for her...but ....not quite for me! Hahahahaha! Well.....Thumper sure looks like its on the rocking road to imortality indeed! Stay tuned for more news....

John Molina @ Thumper

Yes folks.....my old friend John Molina has taken up residency in Thumper and immediately the effects can be felt. We were packed on the first night of his gig and the whole house was rocking hard! After a year off in Thailand, John has decided to come back to shake up the scene and naturally we are all thrilled! It was a great night with alot of old friends turning up. My old student Michiko came, Cara and Ivan turned up....even Shaun Au, Matthew Ma, our partner David Chin and Edward Tan! Turned out to be quite a big nite out on the town for all and am sure that Thumper and John will rock on for quite a long while more! Cheers!

Dimitri From Paris @ Zouk

My old friend and one of my fav DJ's in the world Dimitri from Paris was playing in Zouk and of course I was not gonna miss it. After my chat with Satia, we headed off to check out the tunes of this French wonder....and of course he did not disappoint. Caught up with a few friends there....Lynne and one of her girlfriends joined us for a cracking nite out on the town! Le French House rules!!

The Mighty Maserati GrandTurismo S

My dream car on the road just got even better. Maserati was launching their GrandTurismo S!!! One of the most beautiful cars on the road was being launched at the Maserati City Showroom. What a dream machine.....what curves....the shark-like front grill.....the sound of the engine purr...I was so much in love that it was one of the reasons that motivated me to finally go get my driving license! Of course I am not sure when I can afford to get one...but one can always dream! Michael Hosking joined me as did Andrea and some of her friends, Christopher Guy was around as was Edward and his dad Alfred....Anastasia turned up a little later and when Roy and Chris finally turned up, we all made our way off next door to Zouk for another excellent nite out on the town!

Ashley Isham Boutique Launch

Local boy turned international fashion icon Ashley Isham was opening his first boutique here in his home town and of course I had to drop in before heading to my next event. As you can imagine, all the usual socialites were in full attendance at the Fullerton Hotel with Beppe De Vito, Rajiv Bhalla, Bobby, Julian as well as Celest Basapa, Andrea Foneska and company. A good prelude to another big nite out on the town indeed!

Four Floors @ The Majestic Bar and a car called The Countach!

David Furhmann Lim was throwing a little party at the swanky Majestic Bar and had invited us to swing by for a night of good grooves...and what we got was a nite of a little more! The boys from CannonBall 8000 had swung by and had brought they uber cool car icon....the Lamborghini Countach 5000QV!!! It is probablly one of the coolest and most iconic set of wheels on the road anywhere stealing the show all the time. Mark Ribbans had driven this wonderful machine down from KL to join the Ferrari drive the next day and it sure stole the nigh! David and Amanda were in the house as well as my good friend Royston, Alwyn and Riaz Metha. A number of the old girls that use to party with us also made a appearance such as Agnes Wong. A very cool nite out on the town indeed!!!

Hard Rock Cafe Founders Day

My good friends at Hard Rock Cafe were celebrating their Founders Day and of course I was on hand to join in the festivities! Hard Rock is one of those institutions that never seems to die....thru good times and bad.....the Rock is still solid with the parties there always a good nite out on the town. This was no different for all with the usual suspects turing up as well as old faces seldom seen. Singapore's supermodels from the 80's Tory Ong, Wendi Leong and gang were there as well as familiar faces such as Julius, Mike and Hamish Brown, Olivia Sari and strangely, when the Carlsberg and APB boys colide, Hans Hallan and Daniel Teo and gang raised more than a few pints together! Big thanks to Natalie and the staff of Hard Rock who kept the good times rooooollllling!

KL Nites!

After all these years, a nite out on the town in KL is always special for me. All my old friends and the happy memories....all the good times and loads of Chivas! Something I am not likely to forget indeed! Too many good friend and too many stories...so all I will do is to put up a nice selection of my friends to remember those wild nites! Special mention to Cher, Azran, Jo Chee, Victor, DJ Donovan who is getting married...., Myra....and all the great people there! Ku Mo and Denise with ther awesome new house and their own sound proof club room and bar that stocks EVERYTHING! A busy working weekend that had a awesome nite out on the town! Kay Ell Boleh!
