A shoe affair!

I was invited to the launch of the hottest new ladies shoe brand in town, Giuseppe Zanotti which was brought in by the Jay Gee Melwani people and boy was it a blast! Fantastic champagne...fantastic company and fantastic shows (though they don't fit me nor my wallet!) Met up with a few friends as they hit the shoes, Julyn and Frances who were having a great time...and as the sun went down, I got ready for another big night out on the town with the rest of the gang! As I left the shop, I realized how lucky I was to leave with my wallet intact!! Hahahaha!

Karaoke-A-OK with MBP and the team!

Straight from the airport to a night out on the town! Thats the way it is for me! We were hosting Scott, Brian, Chris and the new CEP of MPBA Man for a night out and it was my bright idea to do the karaoke thing! Angela had booked the place and things were in swing when I got to K-Box in Marina Square! Scott sure can carry a tune...too bad we don't have the franchise for the Idol series instead...maybe we should come up with some karaoke based reality show. Well....Scott had the time of his life for sure and we all enjoyed the company and songs......"Sing it again Scott Cru!!!"

Kual's Wedding in KL

I was off to one of my best friend's wedding, Tengku Al Azlan (or Kual to his friends) to his lovely wife Erica Lane. They had been going out for a while and had even come over to Singapore a few times to hang out and it was a real fab flash wedding with load of VIP's and Malaysian royalty from Pahang and Negri Sembinal including Tuanku Ja'afar, the previous Agong of Malaysia, in attendance as well as prominent bussiness folks, celeb's and the like. The ballroom at the Shangri-La had been decorated beautifully with the palamin for the bride and groom, All the boys were there as expected, Tunku Jamie, one of my closest friends in KL as well as his brothers Tunku Eddie and Danny, Karin Tan, Boy Rahim and the Rahim sisters, Ida and Nina, James Greaves and his lovely wife Tunku Myra, Haz, Kumo, Mac Bakar (who also happens to be my second cousin), Raja Razman, Jejai, Dato Tony Fernandes, Donovan Tho aka Da Funkie Junkie, Cher Ng..and after the formal dining, we ajourned to the hall next door to party the night away which was a made it a great night out on the town in KL!!!

FHM 3some Party @ B-One

Another very excellent night out on the town was to be had at B-One who hosted a FHM 3some party. As expected all the boys turned up...and it was way way crowded! David was hosting with Royston who had taken the VIP table for the boys....and did everyone turn up! We had Beppe, Steffan, Ayu, Mandy and Eileen....and as expected lots of champagne!!! Anchor was one of the sponsors so there was plenty of beer to go around! A very good nite indeed!

F1 Bahrain @ The Pines

Its Sunday!!! And of course the boys would gather to catch the F1 race. The Pines was our venue that day and of course the usual suspects turned up to support Scuderia Ferrari. Jaacky See and his niece, Royston brought Ayu along, Rudy, Adrian Ong, Edward Tan...we even had local celebrity Fiona Xie popped in! As the party wore on...we moved from champagne to sake!! A very big nite out on the town on a Sunday....and with Felipe Massa taking the chequered flag....everything was all good!

Mumm's and SingaporeGP Formula 1 Party @ Zouk

The next function on our trek was a mix of my fav things, Zouk, Mumm's champagne and Formula 1. How could I miss such a function! Angela, Mok, Noel and myself made our way down to the party and was hosted by Alex and the Pernod Ricard team. It certainly was a fun time with all the boys in the house. Alistair from Singapore GP, Royston, Caroline Lam, Nat Wee....whoo hoo!! Bubbles and bubbles and great company! Unfortunately beer and champagne dont really mix that well and we all called it a early night out on the town with me heading to Sin Hoi San for my supper of Prawn Paste Chicken and fried noodles with beef!! YUMMMM!!!

RWS goes to Archipelago Breweries

Its been a while since I updated...so its time for a few quick entries! Our fun-loving, hard working and beer loving team were invited by Daniel and the great people from APB for beers at Archipelago Breweries and of course it was a blast and a half. Props to our host Daniel Teo, Hoshang, Bennett, Andrea and all that took great care of the us. Of course our team included Richard Clements, Noel Hawkes, Angela Lam, James Seiter, Simon Hammer, Elena, Alan, Shirly Chen....Mok...and of course yours truly! Well...it certainly was a blast while it lasted and before long Angela, Mok and myself had to run off to another function.....the nites out on the town continues.......BURP!!!
