Ferrari Club Local Drive then Silverstone F1 at BarNone

Its the first week of July and it was time for the Ferrari Club to have their monthly local drive. This time around, I had helped by organizing a gathering to watch the Silverstone Race at BarNone. We all met at Dempsey Road...a total of 10 cars including Tim, Jaacky, Dr Ben and of course Royston who had asked me along as his guest on the drive. Royston was leading the drive up around Selatar so off we went.....and just as we hit the CTE, Jaacky's QuatroPortte had some engine trouble and had to retire. So there were 9 of us left. You can imagine the stares we got...9 high end Ferrari's and Maserati's tearing it up through town then up to Seletar! The sounds were quite awesome! We ended up back at Marriott just before 7.30 pm down at BarNone who had kindly offered to be our venue and food sponsor. Arthur turned up together with Stewart and a few other friends. It was a great race with the Flying Finn taking the chequered flag! Mumm's was our kind sponsor for the bubbles and we got our immediate past president of the club to pop the bottle in true F1 tradition! Thanks to all of you who were there and especially to Marco, Eng, BarNone, Mumm's, Ferrari, Hong Seh...Royston.....hich!!! Now if you wanna have a nite out on the town...riding up to a club with your posse of Prancing Horses is the ONLY way to go!
