Boat Show @ One15 Marina

After a big Friday night out on the town....it was quite interesting that I managed to wake up quite early on a Sat afternoon and with what seemed to be excellent weather....I was messaged Royston about heading over to the Boat Show before doing the Zouk 16th Anniversary Party later that night. One15 Marina is owned by one of our partners at Q Bar, Arthur Tay.....who hads previously taken us on a little private tour of the club. Its Singapore's premier marina and lifestyle destination located on Sentosa Cove and is the only marina in Asia designed to accept superyachts. As part of Arthur's commitment to the whole project, he bought a US$100 million Azimut 116 which is totally jaw dropping. I got there just as Royston and Jay were pulling up into the marina driveway...and off we went for a wonder around the show. As we went by Arthur's boat, the "Hye Seas"...he graciously invited us on to take a peek and....whoaaaa! Its a total knock out! It has cabin's for 10 guest (all with their own toilets!!!) and the master's awesome cabin. Crew quarters for 6....a full kitchen, dining room, living room, study.....its own speed boat and jet ski stored in the hull.....the list goes on! Its really a experience by itself sipping champagne and chilling out on board! Of course there were loads of other smaller boats around but this one totally stole the show....as you would expect with its price tag! Drinking champagne with Arthur, his brother TG and wife Samantha, John Wee who was also there...we then continued our wonderings as Royston contemplated his next purchase. We ended up the afternoon at the members cocktail with the rest of the boys such as Bobby H, Edward Tan as well as Prakash and David Chin who dropped in! Talk about experiencing a slice of the good life!
