Well....after a fantastic run of 3 years......Thumper (Ver. 1.0) had decided to call it a day. Of course I can go on and on about the reasons why it closes and start to point fingers at various people (those of you who know...know! Hahahaha!) But I think its more important to celebrate the good times there instead of poke at the bad. The MANY MANY fantastic nites on the town that I have celebrated with the boys and girls, meeting new friends, pole dancing, entertaining Black Eye Peas and Michael Bolton, the cast party for Lord of the Dance, Karen Mok and Rent.... putting together THUMPER's Hottest Babe Awards...my birthday, Boon's Birthday, Adeline's Birthday, Sharon's Birthday, Lester's farewell, Lionel's Birthday, the whiskey tastings, the T-Parties....Kelvin Ong and his tequila binges...the list goes on and on. Lots of friends and regulars were on hand to bid it a great farewell in its current form before its rebirth as THUMPER (Ver 2.0)!!! Over the few days of the party, friends like Royston, Ismay, Patricia, Edward Tan, Jeff Goh, the models from the agency......the guys from the hotel and even various suppliers such as the guys from LVMH, Milton and Pierre, Sam....all the boys made every effort to come down for the big final bash! Big hands to the boys from the band who played to the last nite. Of course David Chin (I wonder where was Simon...his other partner in crime so to speak...) was in full and total effect.....DJ Ahn, Ashur and his team, Big Boy Yus, Wendy on the door....and even the cool guys at the valet...we will miss Thumper as it was before but stay tuned! The story is not done and the saga is not over yet!
