F1 @ Timbre with the Ferrari Club

Yep...its Monza!!! The spiritual home of Ferrari! This is the one race that every Ferrari fan and supporter pray they win. Well...considering the results of the constructors championship and now that McLaren is out of the way...we were all hoping that we Massa and Raikonnen would be up to the game. Oh well....sad to say that the results were less than spectacular....actually its the one race in this season that I suppose we all wish we could forget. We did get to watch it in a cool place though, my very own club! Timbre @ The Arts House. Yep....I still have a share there and it looks like its doing quite well. Turning up there just before 8, the boys had already parked their cars around the club...and woah....did it look GOOD! We had more than our fare share of Ferrari's parked around and we looked like the hottest club in town! Of course glad to say that the usual suspects turned up for this nite out on the town, Arthur Tay, his brother TJ and wife Samantha, Bobby Hiradani, Daniel Ou, Royston and even Rosemarie and Anthony! Abig thank you to Edward and his team there though. Oh well.....lets hope we do better at the next race......

The Millenium Cocktail @ Thumper

My last big event that I put together was for my good friend Royston. Roy is in the shipping business and I had helped him throw a cocktail for his clients and friends on a hot Friday afternoon in Thumper. Not really a big night out on the town but it sure was a start!!! Was actually quite cool! Had Nikki Duffel on sax and Paul Ponaduari on guitars do the entertainment, John Danger do close up magic, Jeffrey Chung's girls to do the stage show and one of Roy's friends, Elize, supplied the dance show. Being Roy's party, you can imagine the champagne flowing and the food being excellent Indian as a twist! The usual suspects turned up for the party, Adrian Ong, Alan Chong, Daniel Ou, Teng, Kimberly...and quite a number of other friends! Unfortunately had to rush back to the office for another meeting...oh well....thats the life of a employee now!

My Own Celebration

Yup...thats right...been wanting to blog about this party and finally got the time. I always seem to be attending other people's parties but when I throw my own, it indeed becomes quite a kick ass time! Well.....as some of you may know, I finally got a real job! Yep! Now I work for someone else with a fixed salary! Hahahaha! Shocking right? But this is one hell of a job if you know what I mean! I was lucky enought that Resorts World, the IR by the Genting Group that is going up in Sentosa and that will be ready in end 2009 and 2010. The details are all for another entry but needless to say, I am really excited by this! And what better way to celebrate then to get all my close friends down to Thumper for a few drinks!!! George, Royston, Sulian and Julian, Stephanie and Belle, Kelly, Kimberly, Raymond, Boon, David Chin....a real rocking rolling night that ended up in Zouk! A big night out on the town with good friends and a excellent reason to party! Well....looks like with my new job I won't be doing much of that during the weekdays....

Jonny's Big Birthday Bash @ HRC

Happy Birthday to you Jonny! Hope you had a brilliant nite out on the town! I am quite amazed that you said you didn't get a hang over after the night....but it sure was a kick ass party!!! I am sure your friends had loads of fun!!! Well....looks like one more year nearer to 21!!!
Finally...after weeks of work...I got some time to blog. Of course I got to update with this cool party that Amex threw. It was the re-launch party of their Platinum card at Sentosa. Quite a cool set up actually. It was down on the beach in Sentosa next to Cafe Del Mar. When I swung in, I was whisked off to the VIP section and drink in hand. Caught up with my old friend Glenn Ong and his lovely wife Jamie, reconnected with my old school mate Felix, Derek Tan who just picked up his new F430 Ferari which is totally happening.... Stephanie, Wong Li Lin (her husband Alan Wu was hosting)......and happily indulged in their signature drink, Pure Platinum. One thing that does stick in my head was the food. It was totally fantastic!!!! The highlight of the entertainment for me was the set with DJ Flame and Maniam. Way cooooool!!! They must have spent a bomb on catering which was well worth it! Kudos guys!! Actually, this new position for Amex is quite interesting, it gives you quite a few interesting and unusual perks like you own Q at clubs like MoS and one-4-one on house pour's all night! Cool!!! Anyway....gotta go get me one soon to keep financing my nites out on the town!!! Hahaha! Well...lucky I got a real full time job now then!

We are the Champs!!!

Oh Yeah! The truth is out and while one never wants to win a championship due to a disqualification, a win is a win irregardless. McLaren made a mistake and paid the ultimate price. While the debates will rage long into the future as to what was fair and was the penalty too much or too litte...if the drivers should have had some form of punishment...but in the end....Ferrari claims their Constructors Title! Forza Ferrari!!! More updates to come shortly especially on the Ferrari Owner's Club local drive where Royston and me WON!!!! Oh happy day...or wonderful nite out on the town!!!!!

Then tomorrow is the Jon Ong's birthday at Hard Rock then I am off to the Amex Platinum event....then on Sunday is F1 MONZA!!!! Much to my joy I saw on the news today that McLaren has been fined $50K for some illegal gearbox modification....Ha! Serves them right....steal our secrets then get caught!!! Oh well....for all of you guys that got invites to this Amex party but don't quite know where it is....I have stuck a map here to help you get your nite out on the town (rather...the beach) before you get lost!!! Here's to a good weekend after my first week at work on my new job.....and for those who are wondering what I mean.....its only a initial reduction on my nights out on the town weekdays...but the potential of even BIGGER nites out in the near future! L.I.V.E. Platinum

Hot of the press!!!! Looks like this Amex party is gonna be the coolest thing this side of a ice cream cone!!! Really am looking forward to a big nite out on the town this weekend (though technically it is NOT going to be IN town but out on DA BEACH!!!). I am currently seeking applicants who may want to drive me and a posse of buxom beauties there in their fast Ferrari's....but as yet, no applicants have stepped forward.....probablly they haven't got their Amex Platinum card yet. (That being said, neither do I but...I have the invites!!!) Just in case you guys are curious to know more about the party, you can check out their website....http://www.americanexpress.com/sg/campaigns/liveplatinum/index.shtml for more details! Hope to catch the usual suspects there!!!

F1 Istabul @ the new Maserati Showroom

Its my very own Super Sunday.....and in case you guys don't know what I mean....its time for us to gather once again to catch the F1. This time Hong Seh kindly hosted us at their new showroom at the Copthorne Waterfront Hotel. We anticipated this not too have that big a turn out but as with all Ferrari events, you always have to expect the unexpected and the turn out was quite good! Apart from Edward and Anastasia, Caroline, Charmaine and Felicia....we also had Arthur and friends as well as Royston who came straight down from a long ride from Malaysia! Of course we were all extactic that in the end we whooooped McLaren's rear end with Massa and Raikkonen coming in first and second with Alonso pulling in third. Poor Hamilton had a run of bad luck with a tyre blow out leaving him fifth I think and him finally learning that its not going to always be smooth sailing. I wonder what will come along next year between Alonso and Hamilton....I really doubt that McLaren can hold two of these boys in the same squad for much longer. A totally great nite out on the town with a result that we were all happy with!!!!

Mercedes Gala Charity Dinner

Saturday rolls around again and the big party to be at is in the Shangri-La. Mercedes Benz is throwing their annual charity Gala Dinner in aid of MILK (Mainly I Love Kids to those of you not in the know....). Being guest of Julian who was part of the sponsors with their excellent range from Giorgio Ferrari, it was a night out on the town with Tattinger, Dalmore, cigars and very cool cars. Of course there where quite a few familiar faces in the house, Giorgio himself, Alex Yeo who let them his classic Mercades Benz.....and after that we all decided to rock on down to MoS where I bumpped into Step and Belle, Bobby as well as a bunch of his friends who were all ACS boys but many generations down.....my good friend Marcus and James who are planningt buy a Azimuth as well! A big enough night...but I am still looking forward to watching Ferrari kick McLaren's butt in Istanbul Park the next day....although I enjoyed the hospitality of Mercades. Hahahaha!

Yuki's Birthday

Was invited to my fav socialite and resident hot mama's big birthday bash Yuki Lange last Friday. Her very cool and large pad down in Chatsworth even has a pin ball machine in the living room!!!! Yuki had invited more than a few friends that we all mutually knew for dinner. Very excellent food....150 bottles of champagne.....and a guest list that the Tatler would be proud of! Of course in full attendance was Phillip from Tatler and good friend Benedict Goh, our very own resident pro-driver, Hafiz Koh who came with Christina Liang...of course we had a long bevy of lovely ladies...Felicia, Ning, Jamie, Lyndnn and a long list of other rich and famous. The company was certainly excellent and the conversation, well.......interesting to say the least. Anyway...to cap a excellent nite out on the town, we headed to check out my first Friday at Thumper where we bumpped into Boon and Alexis, Patrick, Edwin, KC and his lady love. The start of what I am sure is gonna be a great weekend!

Something cool this way comes......

A few weeks ago I heard rumbles of a very interesting party that is supposed to take place on 8 Sep 2007....and of course I had to make it my business to get myself a few invites! Well...on the eve of a new turn in my life.......the secret is out. Amex has come up with a plan for something very different. A series of parties and events for the very elite. And the first of them will be held on at the Emerald Hall down on Siloso Beach. Apparently it promises to be quite something out of this world. We got DJ Papp and Morrison in da house....backed up with Angela Flame (I can remember those days of her in Mohd Sultan!!!). Another well loved face that will be there will be my old friend Tabla Maniam. Well well.....I certainly haven't heard his beats in quite a while and I am certainly looking forward to a good nite out on the town indeed! Well....brace yourself folks......looks like the party continues with Amex joining in the purveyors of fun soon! The word is out....and do make sure you are amongst the very elite that get the invites! Looks like this weekend is gonna be a real busy one......APEC, Tempus, Jonny's Birthday....of course L.I.V.E. PLATINUM....Urban Beach Party......I hope my liver can last!
