EA at the Swisshotel Helipad....

Well...everyone's fav computer game company Electronic Arts had thrown a party to showcase their new line up of games and welcome their new regional GM and of course I was invited! Dropped in and quicky bumped into friends...Sulian and Julian of course....also found Daniel Boey and of course Monica Alsagoff who was doing the event! As with all the free flow events, everyone and their brother gatecrashed and it got quite frantic so decided to skip heading up to the helipad and headed back to Thumper for the FHM event instead! Bad idea...big headache after that! Hahaha! Well....another night out on the town indeed!

The Thumper Shareholders!

Well...it was time for our first ever shareholders meeting so quite a number of us turned up down at Thumper to hear the news. Boon chaired the meeting...and among the boys were Thomas, Howard, Ian, Leslie....et all! Had a very lively meeting with great plans for the club...we are going Hip Hop people with the Jackson Twinz! Lets get it started indeed! Well....we got quite a few new faces...with Massimo joining us to drive the branding and marketing....and generally get the party started! Well...we are looking forward to bringing Thumper back up in the next few months...and the first of the many parties I am throwing will be in the first week of April with GROOVELICIOUS!!! Franck Turns 50!!!

One of my closest friends, Franck, threw his big FIVE O birthday party at Velvet after the Red Bull Party...and of course Royston and myself had to swing by and show support! What was already a big night ended up even bigger with what I heard was another 25 bottles of Moet down! Man...if there is a shortage of bubbly in town, I think the boys can clearly be partially responsible for it! Well, everyone was there, Anastasia, Kelly, Caroline, Dionne, Tricia....and lots more! Even the founder of the super premium concierge service that Anastasia represents, Quintessentially was in town for one night only and joined us for the celebrations. Well...it turned out to be one blurry night with everyone happily smashed! Franck was the last one to leave Zouk after being put into a taxi by Alex and the boys there! All in all....a fantastic end to a totally outstanding night out on the town! Happy Birthday Franck! Thanks for all the memories and champagne! (Apparently Franck spent so much that night that Alex sent him a SMS to thank him for his patronage and support the next morning! Man...I wonder how my own birthday will turn out this year! SCARY!!!)

The Search for The Scuderia Torro Rosso Girls!

I remembered attending the Red Bull Girls Party a few years ago up at the New Asia Bar so when I got the invite, I roped in Royston to join me on what I had little suspected to be one of the best nights out on the town I have had recently! Well, we got there just after 8.00 pm and as the crowd flowed in, we happily snacked on mini burgers and garlic prawns. As expected, to start the night off, we happily popped our first bottle of Mumms...and very soon, we were onto our second and third and .....well....suffice to say I heard we cleared a even dozen! Well, I must say it turned out to be quite a night of meeting old friends like Guy and Francesca, as well as new friends like Felicia who was the door girl at Butter Factory, Daryl, Red Bulls Brand Manager here...and of course the girls, Estelle, Jamie, Lynn.....what a start to a totally fantastic night out on the town!

Dom's Birthday

Dom's a interesting chap indeed! Photographer.....watch collector and quite the news maker. He came up with this interesting idea to do a big coffee table book of nude local stars and personalities.....crying! Proceedes were donated to charity.....and what at first seemed to be quite a weird but novel idea, really took off! Good on you Dom! Well.....my third stop on that Thursday night was his birthday at Velvet. Felicia was there as was Calvin Cheng, David See and a few familiar celeb faces like Charmaine Harn. A quick birthday wish and off I was to try to catch a few hours of sleep from what was quite a lightweight night out on the town!

Out on Keppel Island, Prive Gastrobar!

One of the more remote but hip little joints to open recently, Prive owned by Michel Lu and some other partners launched to much applaude. Its quite a interesting place, with what I heard to be a very expensive restaurant inside (good food but service wasn't quite up to parr as yet) and a outdoor area that while quite beautiful and hip, would be a total washout when it rained! The one thing going for it was that it was gonna have a great view of Resorts World in a few years time though! Well, you can imagine quite the few regular faces were happily giving the free booze more than a tipple.....Michel himself, Gillian, Aldrin, my cousin Julian, Patrick Ee, Prakash, Angel Teo....Jeff.....and of course my good friend Stuart and his lovely girlfriend Alison too! Some rather evil looking flaming drinks were being passed out to all and sundry but of course the smart ones avoided it (and avoided what I heard was a big hang over the next day). My night out on the town was not really over yet as I was schedule to go wish a friend Dom, a very happy birthday in Velvet so off I went! Man.....and its only Thursday!

A Random Night Out At Thumper

Thats right...it was a Thursday night and after dinner, had a random Wednesday night out with Jeff, Alexis, Winnie, Janice...and friends at Thumper before heading over to the Prive Grand Opening Party! Quite a good laugh actually! Some bubbly before we continue the festivities on what was gonna be a 3 venue night out on the town.

B*ONE Launch Party

Whoops...forgot to mention a very good party that I attended. BarNone bids farewell but here comes its latest incarnation...BONE! Yup...Marco and Shah have teamed up to launch a new club with some nifty new toys down in the basement of the Marriott and as you can imagine, its opening night was packed! Daniel Ou, Brian Masters, Daniel Yeo from APB, Johnny Walker and even Franck Lapeyre from Pernod Ricard, Eng....Rod Monteiro....and throngs of other party goers filled every nook and cranny of the club to celebrate its opening! Congrats Marco and Shah! Hope you guys have many big nights out on the town!!!

Bang & Olufsen Phone Launch

Iconic home entertainment and lifestyle product maker Bang and Olufsen was launching their new mobile phone and Angie who was doing the PR for the event had invited me and a few of the boys to join in the party. So....rainy as it was, Franck dropped by my office and picked me up to head over to the event at Capitol Towers, their new showroom. Well...it did turn out to be a great party! The champagne flowed...and more than a few friends turned up! Franck, Victor, Boon, Jeff, Julian and Julian, Jeremy....and Aldrin! Well...it sure had most of the right boys in the house! After a light dinner at the restaurant next door, off we went to Zouk for a little fun on a night out on the town. Nothing to heavy...but good enough to enjoy the night! Cheers folks! (P.S.....er...the phone? well.....not quite in my price range....YET!)
